Trying to stay ESD SAFE, i believe iv fried all my 555s due to static. So added this to the desk and its just some aluminum tape and a bolt going through the desk, wrist strap on its way too. 

Led cube 2X2X2 running off the Arduino with a simple code just a start to my Led Cubes to come.
